Kindling & Crew, a respected coaching team from Iowa, is known for their passion for creating amazing venues. I teamed up with them to create their new marketing webpage and set up a user-friendly membership site and online learning platform. Together, we gave their brand a fresh and appealing look, showcasing their impressive portfolio of venue projects. We also added a secure, members-only access system, allowing paying members to enjoy an enriching online learning experience through their dedicated courses platform.

The Process

Discovery

During the "Discover" phase, we delved into the goals and aspirations of the stakeholders, gaining valuable insights into their vision for the website. Thorough user research allowed us to understand the preferences and behaviour patterns of the target audience, while the creation of detailed user personas and journey maps provided a solid foundation for the project.

Define

In the Define phase, we distilled the gathered information into a clear project scope, user requirements, and design objectives. The project scope and objectives were meticulously documented, outlining the features, functionalities, and design elements that would be included. The information architecture was carefully planned, resulting in a logical and intuitive navigation structure. Wireframes and interactive prototypes were crafted, serving as a visual guide for design and development.

Develop

The Development phase saw the transformation of wireframes and prototypes into a functional website with an unwavering focus on user experience. A comprehensive design system was established, ensuring consistency in typography, colour schemes, iconography, and UI components. Front-end development was executed with precision, guaranteeing seamless functionality across various devices. Back-end development integrated essential functionalities like event registration, membership management, payment processing, and content management.

Deliver

In the Delivery phase, the website underwent thorough testing, optimization, and deployment, resulting in a flawless user experience. Extensive quality assurance and testing processes identified and resolved any bugs or usability concerns. Optimization efforts ensured rapid loading times and smooth interactions. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) confirmed that the website met all defined objectives and requirements. Finally, the website was securely deployed on a reliable hosting platform, and its performance was monitored post-launch. The successful execution of this UX development process has culminated in a uuser-centred high-performing website for the Event Management Service and Online Membership Classes site. The seamless experience provided to both event organizers and members is a testament to the meticulous planning and execution carried out throughout this project.
